After my career switch and beginning my journey with massage therapy I was interviewed by my friend, Brianne, in November 2010. I came across this interview recently and was reminded of how far I have come and how I still have further to go.

Considering this time in private practice I have matured and grown as a business woman, forming more specific business goals, an ideal client group, focused business model, and gained more experience and skill in my craft.
This being said, I still can improve and learn more. For instance, it was just brought to my attention that there was a typo in my email address on my new business cards. Yikes! This was the second round of business cards and I somehow missed that typo. I learned the hard lesson to read and reread things before sending them to print.
Everything aside, I still agree with what I said when I was starting out; you can't go wrong with following your gut and doing work that you love. I am excited to see what the next seven years bring!
